uomo cerca donna Cosenza Halifax Nova Scotia Wedding Photographer Faqs About Sandra Adamson photography

coppia cerca donna Prato 1. Why are you a wedding photographer?
I absolutely live for emotional moments. For me, I find no other event in life more emotional then a wedding day and I will tear up, it’s inevitable. This is where the journey of a new life begins with two people in love, the possibilities are endless and so are the emotional moments. Wedding photography is my absolute favorite type of photography and the only photography I specialize in!

No, I have a full time career which helps me keep my prices more reasonable, however most of the time I feel like I have two full time careers. Due to the fact that I do have a full time job I only take 8-10 weddings a year so don’t delay if you wish to book.

My style is a candid story telling of every small and large moment throughout the wedding day. I also have a very artistic editing style using both Lightroom and Photoshop together to create vibrance and clarity throughout your images.

My gear is all professional grade equipment, full frame camera bodies and all my lenses are great in low light situations due to their wide apertures.

I shoot in digital form only.

9. Is my wedding the only one you will be shooting that day?
Yes I never double book weddings.

10. Can we give you a wedding shot list to work from, do you help with our timeline?
Yes I will ask for input from my clients during the consultation portion of the process and create a list with them to make sure the images they want are taken throughout their wedding day. We will also create a timeline schedule for the entire day, both of these aspects are set up in a folder on my google drive for you to edit as we get closer to your wedding day. I am nothing if not organized and a little bit of a wedding planner for you.

11. How soon will I see my photographs from the wedding?
I make every attempt to have my client’s online proofing galleries available 4-5 weeks after the date of the wedding day. With final delivery of finished products between 8-12 weeks-this is dependent on whether or not you order albums as those are produced by a vendor I use in the USA.

12. What wedding products do you offer?

My website is an online portfolio which shows a wide range of my abilities and does contain recent work at all times, however you can see more examples of my photography abilities on my facebook business page.

16. How many photos can we expect to get for our wedding day?
I offer no minimums and no maximums but on average a 14 hour wedding usually ends up with around 700-800 original images. I do create alternative versions of these images for my own portfolio those creative alternatives can be purchased at an additional cost and are not included in any of my packages.

17. Do you work with an assistant?
Yes I usually have at minimum 1 assistant with me, also second shooter available.

17. Do you have your own transportation

19. Do you back up our photos? If so when?
Yes, once your wedding day is over the first thing I do is back up your RAW wedding images on 4 external hard drives the moment I get home. Once your images have been delivered I do not store the images any longer as per my contract.

20. Will we have to sign a contract?
Yes a signed contract is required and this contract we will go through during our first consultation. No wedding date is held until both the contract is signed and the non refundable retainer fee is paid.

21. When is the remaining balance after retainer fee is made due by?
The 50% non refundable retainer fee of your total package balance is due immediately to hold your date along with the signed contract. The remainder of the balance is due 30 days prior to the wedding date.

Yes 1,000,000 in liability insurance.

23. Will you give me the negatives or the digital images, is there a fee for that?
I shoot in RAW format (equivalent to a digital negative) however my clients receive high resolution JPG files large enough to print up to a 24X36inch  print/canvas. I do not release RAW files under any circumstances as they do not reflect my brand.

24. What happens if it rains?
I love a challenge, so does my equipment and it wouldn’t be the first time I’ve shot in the rain. Umbrellas are great for rainy days and I bring 6 with me to every wedding!

25. Can my other guests take pictures?
Absolutely I only ask that during formals that they wait until I am finished shooting before they start and stay out of my line while working throughout the day.

26. I am the only photographer present and contracted to shoot your wedding but are there any restrictions on other vendors?
No, there are no restrictions on other vendors such as videographers for example. The only restriction I have is that there be no other pro photographer contracted to shoot your wedding.

You can see many testomonials on my site through my about me page and I am always willing to provide 3 references if needed.

I will shoot anywhere but my favorite places are urban areas as well as park like settings. I like textures and props to play with such as benches, rod iron gates, brick, stone, barns, trees, rustic aspects as I feel these things help with my artistic editing style to get that rustic clarity in images.
